Warranty terms

What is covered, for how long, and how a claim is settled on telemetry rather than on argument.

Engineering draft. This page states what the system actually does, which is the part we can be certain of. The wording still needs review by counsel before launch.

Cover

Each pack carries the warranty period stated on its product page — 5 years on home and telecom packs, 8 on the solar hybrid, 10 on C&I and containerised systems. Cover runs from the commissioning date, not the invoice date.

We warrant the pack against manufacturing defect, and we warrant that usable capacity will not fall below 80% of rated before the stated cycle count at the stated depth of discharge, whichever comes first.

How a claim is settled

For a telemetry-connected pack we read the BMS history: cycle count, depth of discharge, cell temperature extremes and current excursions. That evidence settles most claims in a day, in either direction, and it is the reason we fit a gateway to every unit.

Where a pack is not connected, a claim needs a capacity test at our works or by our engineer on site.

Exclusions

Installation outside the manual. Operation outside the stated temperature, voltage or current limits. Water ingress beyond the pack's IP rating. Physical damage, fire, flood or lightning. Any modification to the BMS, its firmware, or the pack wiring. Charging from a source that does not follow the pack's charge profile.

Extension

Years 6 to 10 can be bought once, at 8% of pack value, on the same terms including the state-of-health floor. It must be bought while the original warranty is still live.
